National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Construction

 

 

An NVQ is a structured personal development programme which assesses area competence and leads to a nationally recognised qualification.  

 

The level taken will depend on the position that the potential candidate is at in their career.

 

In the area of construction the four levels relate to the following jobs:

 

                                                          
     Operative                                   Supervisor                            Site Manager               Project/Contract Manager or Director

Due to the vast number of NVQs in construction it is not practicable to itemise them all on this website, consequently only an example of the most

commonly required ones are included.
