An NVQ is a structured personal development programme which assesses area competence and leads to a nationally recognised qualification.  

 

The level taken will depend on the position that the potential candidate is at in their career.

 

In the area of construction the four levels relate to the following jobs:
           

Operative

Supervisor

Site Manager

Project / Contract Manager or Director
